Experience the elegance of the Amalfi Coast with Tafuri Positano. Part of the exclusive Tafuri Line by Saka Caffè (Torrefazione Tafuri), this 80/20 blend is crafted for those who love the rich, syrupy body of traditional Neapolitan espresso but crave the nuanced fruit and floral notes of modern specialty coffee. The Bridge Between Tradition and Specialty Coffee.
Why choose Tafuri Positano?
Unlike the "Bar Line" which focuses on bold, dark chocolate and low acidity, Positano offers a "Modern Espresso" profile—medium-roasted to preserve the origin characteristics while maintaining the legendary Neapolitan crema that home baristas prize.
Flavor Profile & Tasting Notes
- Tasting Notes: A refined balance of rich dark chocolate and toasted almond.
- Mouthfeel: Exceptionally silky body with a thick, persistent crema.
- Acidity: Crisp and lively, reminiscent of green apple.
- Aroma: Intense and fragrant, featuring floral undertones that set it apart from the classic Saka Bar line.
Bring the legendary taste of Saka Caffè—the "Home Barista's Secret"—to your Nespresso® Original machine. Known globally for its bold, syrupy texture and traditional Neapolitan character, Saka Espresso is now available in convenient capsules. This isn't just a coffee pod; it’s a portal to the bustling coffee bars of Naples, Italy.
Why Choose Saka Coffee for Nespresso?
Saka Caffè focuses on the traditional Neapolitan roasting method. Using a rotating drum and artisanal expertise, these beans are roasted to maximizing sweetness and body.
- Signature Mouthfeel: Exceptionally full-bodied with a "chewy," syrupy texture.
- Low Acidity: Perfect for those who prefer smooth, chocolatey coffee over fruity third-wave roasts.
- Superior Crema: Engineered to produce a thick, long-lasting "tiger-striped" crema, even in a capsule format.
- Versatile Brewing: Bold enough to cut through milk for a rich Cappuccino or Latte, yet smooth enough for a pure Ristretto.
Flavor Profile & Tasting Notes
- Primary Notes: Intense Dark Chocolate, Toasted Hazelnut, and Caramelized Sugar.
- Aroma: Deep, nutty, and reminiscent of a classic Italian coffee bar.
- Finish: Smooth and lingering with zero "burnt" aftertaste.
Elegant with syrupy body. Notes of nougat, milk chocolate and winey aromatics.

We are thrilled to continue and extend our collaboration with Casa Almeida Barreto, a family estate focused on the production of the high end specialty coffee and wine from Brazil whom we directly purchase coffee from since three years back.
The quality of their coffee is palpable in every sample. After a chat at the beginning of our partnership with Jorge and Gabriel, we first understood this was possible as a result of their extensive background in enology, agronomy and fermentation techniques, as this farm was first bought with the intention of solely producing wine.
Due to already existing old and well established coffee trees in the farm, Gabriel and his family realised it would be a pity to waste them - that is how their coffee production journey started.
With a scientific and artisanal approach towards production, they continuously research terroirs and develop methods that can better express each variety and achieve great results in the cupping table.
For the past years they have been improving fermentation and drying methods to better maintain the aromas and taste from the cherries, while exploring different profiles. Using the stainless-steel tanks and technology from the wine facilities, they were able to better control fermentation of the coffee, bringing up very interesting flavour profiles.
HARVEST 2025
"The 2024/2025 coffee growing season has certainly kept us on our toes. An unusually warm and arid winter was followed by promising September rains, only for October’s dryness — right at the peak of blossoming — to reduce fruit-setting and, consequently, coffee cherries.
From November through January, rainfall returned, though still below average, sustaining healthy plant and cherry development. February surprised us again with a short dry spell during the critical grain-filling stage, resulting in smaller screen sizes and some underdeveloped beans.
Fortunately, March through June brought steady rains, replenishing the soil and allowing crops to recover. Our higher-altitude, with its cooler climate and naturally slower cycles, were less affected by February’s dryness, and for the first time in five years, winter brought very cold days with three light-to- moderate frosts between June and August. Combined with sunny, dry winter weather, this created ideal conditions for a longer, more delicate harvest and gentler drying of the beans.
Although Mother Nature was rather capricious in the last 12 months, our team at the far
managed to mitigate and turn around all these challenges, and the result is some exciting
coffees coming your way. This year’s lots showcase vibrant acidity balanced with natural sweetness — hallmarks of our production.
We also introduced innovations: experimenting with slightly earlier picking, slower drying methods, and an increased share of fermented coffees. Expanding our cement patios further enhanced efficiency, cleanliness, and overall consistency.
As always, our mission is to deliver coffees that delight and surprise while maintaining
the standards our partners expect.
We remain committed to listening, improving, and crafting exceptional coffees for those who appreciate the finest. "

We are excited to present you Danilo Sanchez's new harvest, a sweet and syrupy coffee sourced through Semilla that supports producers in the area.
Danilo Sánchez began growing coffee 15 years ago, when he was a young man who helped his father on the coffee plots his family-owned. Learning the craft from him until in 2009 his father passed down a plot of land to him. Danilo planted his first coffee plants, and with his initial earnings, he reinvested to expand his crops, to the five hectares he has now.
Danilo is the third generation of coffee growers in his family. For them, coffee growing is a tradition handed down generation to generation. He grows coffee not only out of tradition but also out of genuine passion and love for coffee. Each year, Danilo's family strives to produce high-quality coffee for others to enjoy. However, labour shortages present a significant challege; each season, they face uncertainty over whether they will have enough workers to harvest their crops. Climate change also adds to the difficulties, affecting their yields and cultivation practices.
Danilo also extends his gratitude to those who buy their coffee, recognizing how crucial their support is for his family’s livelihood. Coffee cultivation has provided them with what he and his family need, but Danilo’s long-term goal is to keep his plots in excellent, productive condition.
Cherries are harvested at peak ripeness and then go through a 50-hour anaerobic fermentation in sealed plastic bags. After being de-pulped, coffee experiences a 38-hour dry fermentation. Afterwards, it is dried for 20 to 25 days under sunlight with a plastic cover to regulate the temperature.
