While the washed Geisha is known for its floral notes, citrus, and juicy character, this semi-washed Geisha—thanks to the retention of some mucilage—shows more pronounced candy and honey-like sweetness. The cup evokes orange candy, honey tangerine, ripe sweet apricot, and black plum.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eCompared with a traditional fully washed process, semi-washed involves less intensive washing and leaves a portion of the natural mucilage intact during drying.
